Projects in AU.

Completed 3 project ever since arriving at Australia.
1 - Network Standardisation
2 - Internet Condsolidation
3 - Monitoring System
For the first 2 projects, my colleague, paijen, was the Project manager for it.

Network Standardisation
- Update the Network Diagram of Toyota Technical Center Australia Asia Pacific Pty Ltd.
- Update the server room Rack Diagram
- Compile a list on the IP Address used.
- IP Address for the 5 Virtual Network, Public Address and Toyota Global Network Address
- Manage the configuration for all network devices.
- Compile on the port mapping of all devices in the Network. Ranging from Router, Firewall, Core Switch, Access layer Switch, Desktop, Printer and Plotter. Over 1000 ports.
- Shifting of firewall, switches location in the Rack.
- Tear down the entire network and repatch the cables as the patching was in bad condition. Spent a total of 29 freaking hours over the weekend to complete the whole shit.

Internet Condsolidation
- Migrate to a new range of Public IP Address
- Purchase new range of IP from one of the Telco company in AU.
- Inform the hosting company about the new range of IP Address.
- Migration took place in the evening after office hours.

Monitoring System
- 1st project completed on my own. (feel great)
- Plot out the traffic, resources usage, CRC, Round trip time and ping loss of all network devices into graph format.
- Configure the system to backup the data files both daily and monthly.
- Setting up a system to monitor the availabilty of all critical devices in the network. Ranging from network devices, domain controller, servers to printers.
- Monitor the resources usage of the server. CPU usage, Hard-disk usage and Physical memory usage.
- Setup a notification system which sent out emails and SMS when the monitored devies is unreachable or resources usage reach the threshold.

Busy and challenging period. Looking forward to the upcoming 3 projects in August.
